National Guardsman train for combat at Michigan's Camp Grayling
National Guard artillery regiments train at Camp Grayling
Five National Guard artillery regiments and an active U.S. Army infantry regiment trained together at Michigan's Camp Grayling from July 12-26, 2014. Alpha and Charlie Batteries of the Michigan National Guard's 1st Battalion, 119th Field Artillery Regiment train on airlifting howitzers in air assault missions, defending battery positions against active-duty soldiers playing "the enemy" and live firing various rounds from the M777 Ultralightweight Field Howitzer.
